Privacy notice
This notice explains how information is handled on the Scale2Germany website and in the Germany Expansion Check. Details you submit through the contact form or the check are transmitted to us and stored securely so that we can respond and review your result.

What we collect
From the contact form: your name, company, business email, and optionally role, website, telephone, current Germany status and your message. From the Germany Expansion Check: the same contact details plus your answers, the calculated result and the assessment version. We also record the time of submission, the page you submitted from, your chosen language and a non-reversible technical value derived from your connection that is used only to limit abusive submissions.
How we use it
We use your details to respond to your enquiry, to review your assessment result with you and to prepare a possible engagement. We do not use them for marketing without your separate consent, and we do not sell or share them for advertising purposes.
Legal basis
Processing is based on our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries and, where an engagement is being prepared, on steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract.
Processors
The website, its database and its email delivery run on Lovable Cloud infrastructure, which acts as our processor. Data is stored in the European Union. Emails triggered by your submission are delivered to us and, as a confirmation, to you.
Browser storage
The Germany Expansion Check also keeps your language, answers, current step and skipped questions in your browser's localStorage so that you can continue later on the same device. This storage is functional and can be cleared at any time from within the check or through your browser settings.
Retention
Enquiries and assessment submissions are normally retained for up to 12 months from submission and then deleted, unless the enquiry becomes a client relationship, is subject to a legal hold, or longer retention is required by law — for example accounting obligations.
Cookies and analytics
This website does not use advertising cookies, marketing pixels, session replay or third-party analytics. No external fonts, maps or media are loaded from third-party services.
Your rights
You have the right to request access to your personal data, correction or erasure, restriction of processing, objection to processing and data portability where applicable. Write to info@scalepoint-ventures.com to exercise these rights. You may also lodge a complaint with the Finnish Data Protection Ombudsman.
